[Even by Subaki's standards, this had been a particularly trying week. When Niles invited him over the next day to come hang out, he wouldn't turn it down. He's exhausted, but he'd missed Niles, so he drags himself across town like there's nothing wrong.
The weather was starting to turn, and while he liked the cooler weather, he also liked being in a warm apartment, his or someone else's. Odin was gone for the day, and so it was just the two of them. Eventually, they'd settled in the living room. He was watching Niles play some video game. He'd comandeered one of Niles' pillows, and he just smells Niles as he curls into it on the couch.]
