[For as much as he was used to it, Xander hated pomp and circumstance. Especially when he had to participate so much and when it had to do with what he considered his personal life. The wedding had been the entire day, and he really only enjoyed his vows and dancing with his husband. Everything else had been royal posturing.
Now, he was in their rooms, having ditched the crown, jewels, and wedding finery, handing them off to Laslow with the instruction 'only bother us if the kingdom is being invaded' and kicking him out. Now he was sitting with a glass of wine and waiting for Niles to finish what he was doing.]
[If you had told Niles even a year ago that he'd be married to the King of Nohr and that he'd be in love with him, he'd just laugh. There's no way. He's nothing special. No one would really want to marry him.
Yeah, that went sideways. And instead, now, Nohr has a Prince Consort in Niles, who is nervous about the whole ordeal. The one thing he can handle, however, is Xander. For he loves him too, and openly says it at this point.
When he steps out from behind the room divider, he's wearing a dancer outfit very similar to Laslow's. However, this one had purple hints on it. He comes out with a small spin, showing off his body just so.]
[There's a pause for a long moment as Xander just stares. For all his training and practice at being good with words, this just... makes all of it fail.
Setting his wine down, he stands, crossing the room to where Niles is standing in that wonderful outfit. He had this feeling that he owed Laslow extra days off to woo the ladies (and possibly) men of the castle, but he'd take care of that later.]
