[He digs his nails into Niles' hips again as he's drawn up, breath jagged and quick against his lover's cheek as he registers the command, the desire, and immediately lunges in for a deep, biting kiss, hips snapping to meet a more frantic pace.]

[He lets out a heavy gasp, tilting his head back before he's heavily kissed. The hips snapping and the rocking of his body only encourage the coming orgasm. But he wants to hold off. He did specialize in taking his sweet time here, after all. And he keeps tightening himself to make Ryoma come first.]

[Ryoma has stamina for days. It takes a lot to make him tired, to make him bow, to make him give up once he's set his course... but of the two of them, Niles is more experienced in the bedroom, and while Ryoma is a quick learner at his feet, Niles has the high ground. He winds his fingers in Niles' hair and ruts desperately into him, Niles' body tighter and hotter than Ryoma even has words for.

He breaks the kiss when he comes, gasping something like Niles' name against his lips as he wraps around him and presses down, pinning and trapping his lover as best he can as he buries himself to the hilt inside of his dear Niles.]

[Niles does plan to keep it that way. He has only a few talents that make him a bit better than Ryoma, and his bedroom stamina is one of them. But romance and love isn't a competition, and he comes soon after. Splattering most of it on Ryoma's stomach as he pins him down.]

[Ryoma decorates Niles' jaw with kisses, punctuating his words with feathersoft brushes of his lips on Niles' face and lips.]

After we announce our engagement... it can be my reward for being well behaved at the party.

[Ryoma was chuckling at the thought of Niles performing like a pretty little Hoshidan maid, all demure smiles and draping robes... though the image was, indeed, an appealing one.]

Me not killing a noble.

[But he would be more well behaved than that. Though that certainly is the minimum he'd give.]

I'm going to need a little better than that. No stabbing anyone, either.

[Ryoma was sitting back, slowly, giving one last roll of his hips as he began to pull back out of Niles with a soft moan.]

Gods, I missed you.

I also won't try and give you a blowjob until we've left.

[Niles sighed, moving slowly to sit up.]

You won't miss me again... I promise you that.

[Ryoma's voice was deadpan even as he was smiling, kissing Niles' forehead as he began to look for expendable pieces of cloth. The napkins were plain, but... they deserved so much more out of their lives.]

[He lets out a light chuckle, moving in to kiss him again before he moves to sit up properly and gives him a full on kiss on the lips.]

I'll make sure you either love it or regret it... but I think we both know how you'll feel.

What could I ever regret about you?

[When in doubt, kill them with sincerity. And pay the housekeeping staff a little extra money to replace the napkins, as Ryoma was wiping his belly clean and then reaching to clean Niles as well.]

Do you need help back into your robes?

[deniles]

Please.

[Giving Ryoma another kiss.]

And then carry me to bed.

[He likes this whole not doing anything important. Making Ryoma do all the hard work.]

[He takes the kiss with a grin, glancing at the tea after a moment.]

Do you want any of the refreshments before we go?

[It was a nice spread... all the same, Ryoma worked to put himself to rights, and then Niles.]

Bring everything. We can eat in the bedroom before going again.

[Yeah, it's all good, he doesn't want to lose anything.]

You're insatiable.

[But Ryoma is smiling, getting Niles' robes to rights... and then hefting him up into his arms, waiting for Niles to settle before he starts for the door that'll take them to the private quarters. Saizo already has a few servants gathering the pre-offered lunch onto trays, the soiled napkins mysteriously vanished.]

And you encourage it.

[Kissing him on the cheek, he rested in his arm. It's rather nice not to have to do anything here.]

And you will be busy again shortly. Might as well get every moment out of it I can.

[He nuzzled against Niles, carrying him with ease as Kagero kept a step or two ahead to open doors as needed, a small entourage in their wake as they made their way to the king's private rooms... and what a set of rooms it was.

Ryoma favored a modest sort of aesthetic, neatly kept and occasionally bright, but... the things he kept in his space were nice, without being gaudy or overblown. There were several doors connecting to the antechamber of the king's private bedrooms--one sat open, and clearly contained an office. The other two were traditional doors, with locks on the handle--more Nohrian in style than sliding doors.]

These are my rooms. Well. Our rooms.

[There were rooms. There were more rooms than Niles had been in. The study was bigger than his bedroom, and he was pretty sure this was bigger than that house he stayed in one time after everyone died and he just took over it.]

...Ryoma, these... these are massive.

[One positive to not marrying a snooty noble. Niles is impressed by a lot.]

Pretty sure I'm going to get lost.

[The main antechamber was meant for entertaining or meeting people informally--there were bookshelves and a low dining table, as well as a sitting area next to the fireplace.]

Well, let me give you the tour. The door through the right leads to the queen's chambers, and the door to the left leads to the harem.

[Kagero pulled the door through to the main bedroom--which was, in and of itself, the size of a small house, with another two sets of sliding doors to the left and the right.]

To the left in here is the bathing room and the clothing chests, to the right is a small chamber that locks... and leads out into the private gardens.

[He began to follow around, looking closely at everything that was everywhere. Blinking slowly through each of the doors that was opened and getting a closer look.

It was massive. Niles, for once in his life, definitely thought he could get very easily lost.]

I... see. What is the purpose of the queen's chambers? Don't we sleep together?

[lightninglobster]

[Ryoma doubled back when Niles mentioned the queen's chambers, pulling a key from a nearby bookshelf and undoing the lock, gesturing for his lover to proceed him while the servants set up a table in the bedroom full of their tea and food.]

Well, in Hoshido's past, there have been kings with wives who... couldn't find rest next to their husband, for whatever reason. Or, kings who kept a few other young ladies, and so would rather their wives weren't in the room while they... eugh.

[The hallway to the queen's chamber was a short one--it was beautifully appointed, and had clearly been decorated by a softer, kinder hand. It wasn't as big as the kings rooms, and there were another set of doors on the right--as well as a large window that peered out over the promised gardens.]

I know my mother would occasionally sleep in her own chambers when my father was working later, or if she was tending a particularly fussy baby while he was trying to rest. She'd also dress in here while my father took private visits and reports from Saizo the Fourth.

[Stop focusing on the harem aspect. The doors to the right led into what had once been a nursery, and another bathing room.]

[Niles is planning on not saying anything about the harem aspect. He already brought up his concerns about it, and how he doesn't want it. Ryoma seems to be in the same camp.]

The way you talk about it, it sounds like you're the first king to take a husband.

[Not that he minds, of course. He keeps walking and looking. Particularly at the gardens outside.]

I see the appeal. I do plan on mostly sleeping in your chambers, Ryoma.

[It's trying to keep track of everything. At the very least, if he does get lost, Ryoma is sure to hear him.]

Our chambers, that is. So the gardens truly are just ours?

[Ryoma would find... something to do with the harem room. Maybe a renovated set of guest chambers, or a nursery, or... something. He didn't want to have to use it for its original purpose.]

The first in a very long time, as far as I recall. I can count on one hand how many kings had a male consort... the number goes up if you count the number of acknowledged male concubines, if that makes you feel better?

[Always look on the bright side? The private gardens were... lush. Colorful. One of the public gardens was made of rock and sand, meant to be raked into thoughtful patterns, while another centered around a beautiful pagoda for outside dining. The gardeners had apparently decided to experiment with the family's gardens, looking for exciting new combinations of flora and fauna.]

I'm glad. I sleep easier when you're by my side.

[Ryoma doubled back to the main chamber, going to unlock the door to the little mudroom that led to the garden--a last minute precaution against intruders and the like, as well as a place to change without tracking dirt all over the floors.]

It's the royal family's--if you look across the way, there are a few more doors. One of the doors leads to the main nursery, and those three doors lead to my siblings' adult rooms.
